Mattis Konrad is a character in Edna & Harvey: The Breakout and the father of Edna Konrad.
Years ago, Mattis had short short hair and a healthy complexion. He also had round glasses. He wore a green sweater, light brown pants, and dark brown shoes.
Mattis Konrad raised his daughter Edna for an unknown amount of time all by himself, attemptung to control her wild behavior. However, it was implied that he was stressed out and did not know what to do with her, as evidenced by his locking Edna up and considering to have go through a "correction of character". According to Edna, he seemed to prefer being with Alfred, though whether this was true or not is unknown. But Mattis mentioned in the final tempomorph sequence that he could imagine a future together for Edna and Alfred.
After his daughter Edna unintentionally killed Dr Marcel's son, Alfred Marcel, he took the blame and received the death penalty. This is also true in the German version, despite there being no death penalty in Germany.
